Today’s note is going to show you how to filter keyword data like a pro, so let’s get into it!
Short for Regular Expression, Regex is a pattern that specifies a set of strings.
We’ll use it to filter our Google Search Console keywords to produce the best keyword research possible! Note: your site must have some traffic, generally 5000 impressions per page will be enough to get you going.
GSC uses something called RE2 Regex. You need to specific “RE2 Regex” when asking it to create Regex for you or else it may not work.
In order to filter using Regex in GSC, you need to click Query > Custom Regex.
