Howdy Notebooker!
The following is a new and improved version of the first note/bot I sent on ainotebook.com back in April 2025, sign up if you haven’t already!
Today I’m going to show you how you can improve your chances of ranking in ChatGPT by paying close attention to the way ChatGPT Deep Research wants to refine your queries.
I’ve now improved the GPT Bot to to help you find specific URLs to strengthen and I even provide passage recommendations to help you do it!
It's called Deep Research Refinement Synthesizer 2.0 and now you can use it with different models. The default model is 4o, but I recommend using o3 for the best results!
I’ve created version 2.0 of my Deep Research Refinement Synthesizer and I’ll be detailing its use in my new CXL Course on Answer Engine Optimization.
It’s my strong assertion that Deep Research will replace the traditional SaaS user journey and that eventually, every Generative AI search will end up looking like a Deep Research result. See my AI search client MappedIn’s deep research for indoor mapping software for malls.
Deep Research scours the web and goes deep on researching questions where traditionally, users would perform a Google Search, open up 10 different tabs and make mental notes on which solution better suits their needs.
