🔍 📆 📈 Steal your competitor’s publishing schedule
This simple Google search reveals how much content they've published
Howdy Notebooker!
Today’s note uncovers a simple but powerful tactic to spy on your competitors' publishing schedules using just a Google search operator.
You’ll learn how to find exactly how much content your competition is pushing out, month by month.
Let’s get into it!
Today’s note was inspired by a great thread over on SEO Signals Lab about Google Search Operators. This is an older note, but I’ve added a new section to it at the end.
I didn’t want to just make a giant list, but if that’s what you’re after, you can find one here.
I’m going to focus on one operator suggested by Viktor Ivanov, who wrote:
"if you add operator -before:2024-09-10 (current date) and -after: 2024-09-01 (the beginning of the month) and you can see the blog articles that were indexed during that time."
