It’s an example from a site I work with:
What I want to focus on today was the HTML sitemap and how we’ve added top blogs to it. Take a look https://www.felixforyou.ca/sitemap
You can see how there are a bunch of blogs added to the HTML sitemap linked on the footer of the site.
Why do this?
Each time you publish a new blog, older posts get bumped down the site’s hierarchy and get linked further away from the root domain.
This means that with each post, every blog benefits less and less from the root domain’s authority.
