Today’s note features a GPT agent I created that will help you optimize your videos for maximum watchtime.

Watchtime and CTR are the two most important factors in YouTube's algorithm, and this AI assistant will analyze your video scripts and provide actionable feedback to boost watchtime.

It’s based on a presentation from a Chiang Mai SEO Conference, where Stan Leloup shared how he’s helping YouTube channels explode their ranking and presence in the YouTube suggestion engine.

Stan’s presentation focused on creating what he calls "intrigue loops.” Intrigue loops involve creating moments in the video that heighten intrigue and increase watchtime.

From the prompt: An “intrigue loop” is a storytelling or presentation technique where you pose a question, tease a reveal, or introduce a compelling mystery—this is called opening a loop. You close the loop later by delivering the promised answer, solution, or conclusion. This technique keeps viewers engaged because they’re curious about the resolution.

This agent provides ideas to create intrigue loops at Stan’s recommended intervals from at least every three minutes.
